At smaints, product safety and purity are our top priorities. Our medicinal mushrooms come from certified organic farms in Austria, Slovenia, Finland, and Estonia, far from contaminated growing areas and under clean conditions.
All our partners are HACCP and organic certified and are regularly inspected. In addition, we test our mushrooms and finished products in independent laboratories. We test specifically for:
- Heavy metals (e.g. lead, arsenic, mercury, etc.)
- PACs (pesticides, aflatoxins etc.)
- Microbiology (germs, molds, yeasts, etc.)
